ABOUT EAS

With E.A.S. Entertainment Arts Services UG you choose a small but highly experienced and knowledgeable team of experts for your project. Due to our philosophy to strive for quality, not for size, our number of projects per year is limited and we chose our clients very carefully.

As our client, you can expect a service from us that covers all stages of the artistic development from the first conceptual ideas to the project management and art direction on site.

With a core team of artists and engineers, grouped around the creative mind of the German designer Matthias Clostermann, we strive for close and lasting relationships with our clients, acting on behalf of the client to help achieve the creative and business objectives.

With our wide network and our good reputation in the industry we can assist the client  in implementing the desired  project cost effective and swift, avoiding costly pitfalls that are unique to the attractions industry.

Every project begins with a personal interview with the client, defining objectives, motifs and setting the framework for the project.

After the framework is established, we offer the following stages of development, separately or as a full service solution:

•Brainstorming, Conceptual consultation

•Master Planning

•Consulting on businessplan and cost strategy

•Illustration & detail design

•Technical design & Solution

•Sourcing

•Project management

•Art direction

Please be aware that, due to the highly specialized nature of our expertise we do not provide civil engineering, basic landscaping etc., but see ourselves as the specialized partner for the local project architects. Our primary goal is the creation of the actual “magic” of your attraction project.

MATTHIAS CLOSTERMANN

From early childhood  Matthias Clostermann worked professionally as a „wunderkind“ of German film & television business.

Completely self-taught, he worked at the young age of 14 as a lead special effects artist for several German Television projects, at age 23 he designed his first themed ride for a German theme park.

Since then, he has been designing and creating themed attractions for parks and museums all over the world, from Europa Park in Germany, to Universal Studios, Legoland, to Samsung-Everland Park in Seoul.

One major focus in the projects of the last 20 years was in designing and fabricating animatronic robots, with the highest degree of realism.

In the last 8 years, a new focus of Matthias´ work has been  connecting media with physical sceneries, seamlessly integrating technology to form unique experiences in themed entertainment. A strong focus has been on developing successful industrial visitor attractions, as well as  "city location based attractions"  that can operate profitably within an inner city environment and can be built with reasonable investment.

With a broad experience not only in working globally, but also in connecting industrial communication, dramatic storytelling and compelling visual installations, Matthias Clostermann has contributed to more than 100 entertainment , science and brand communication projects in his career.
